The first project of the semester was a site analysis of public and private spaces around the Five Points area of Raleigh. Five Points is a unique neighborhood filled with a variety of commercial and residential spaces.
We recorded our observations on a base map of the area and then proceeded to work our ideas out in to a final drawing. The challenge was that the drawing could only use straight lines and no outlining was allowed. The final drawing at 22 x 30 was a challenge to complete, but it did give me the chance to catch up on my podcasts!

At the final review we pinned up our final drawing along with three tests and three perspective sketches.
